The Challenge

Best Beach Getaways had outgrown the site we built them in 2019. Five years of portfolio growth across Destin, Panama City Beach, Okaloosa Island, and Anna Maria Island had moved past what the original architecture could carry.

The booking flow was dated. Search couldn’t surface the right property fast enough. There were no destination, area, resort, or amenity landing pages to capture intent earlier in the guest journey. URL structure wasn’t built for the SEO surface area a portfolio this size needs.

Direct booking infrastructure needed a full rebuild — not a refresh.

The Solution

We rebuilt the site on Booking Redefined, our direct booking platform, with the goal of getting guests to their ideal property faster — and giving Best Beach Getaways the landing-page surface area to compete on intent.

Search moved above the fold with contextual filters, real-time rates from VR Works, and stay totals on the results grid. Property pages were rebuilt around full-width imagery, a three-month availability calendar, REVA-aggregated reviews, and quick-glance amenity icons pulled from the amenities guests actually ask for. Favorites, recently viewed, and a side-by-side Trips comparison view gave guests real tools to narrow their stay.

Destination, area, resort, and amenity landing pages were built out for organic capture. The booking page added travel insurance opt-in, promo codes, and lead capture for cart abandonment recovery.
